The Heritage Committee is devoted to the preservation and protection of historically important properties in the Annex, from the earliest nineteenth century homes to those built more recently. Members monitor new development proposals, offer guidance to home owners and developers alike and are also responsible for overseeing the implementation of heritage studies, a process that requires everything from negotiating with the City, hiring architectural heritage and landscape experts, and raising funds.
